Minta

Minta is an MP3 information, tagging and listing utility for OS/2. It displays information for MP3 audio files, allows adding and removing of ID3-tags (v1.0/v1.1) which provide the ability to store Title, Artist, Album etc. with the file and are used by many MP3 players and can output all files with (user selectable parts of) their info to listfiles.

Minta allows easy editing of multiple files, either one by one or all at once. Among its various features, the program provides an easy-to-use PM interface, WPS support and a broad range of configuration options.

Language support is included for English, German, French, Dutch, Norwegian (not complete), Russian (program only) and Italian.

Current version

Current version is 2.52 (released January 2003)

The following things were changed/added:

When renaming the tracknumber may now be given with a fixed length of two or three characters.
Minta is available under the GPL starting with this release.

Next release

There will not be a next release, at least not from me. The source code for the program is available, so everybody has the opportunity to add features or remove bugs him/herself.
